Dwight Howard Fitted For New Jersey…Pin Your Hopes As You See Fit

Created/courtesy of the Orlando Sentinel…Magic star Dwight Howard being fitted for new attire just in case he wants to leave The “Magic” Kingdom.  His status will be one of the next “Decisions” hoop fans will be hopeful of.  Note while the paper envisions other jerseys for Dwight besides the one he currently wears (speakers recommended for keeping his current one on), they sure have something to say about why each of his potential suitors are not suitable.

Orlando…just don’t pin your hopes on keeping him.

Y’know, his Tweet the other day that ESPN has illuminated for everyone to see, I found something amusing about it: he complained about the Orlando media in a way that reminds me of how relationships end. You know, things are going fine between a couple and all of the sudden the girl spouts that, “I can’t do this anymore! We argue all the time!” That’s what Howard’s words remind me of.

If Orlando keeps the same pieces they have right now, I can’t imagine him staying. As for being a Laker, I can imagine it (but I don’t want to)! Warm weather, relaxing, the Cali beaches…

I think I might have angered a Magic fan a day or two ago when I brought this up, because he embarked on a tirade about Shaq leaving and how it’s a hyperbole with Howard leaving for LA, etc.

I’ll tell ya what — it would be a miracle, but I wouldn’t mind seeing that big number 12 in a green jersey. Just saying.

  3. Will be interesting to see how Orlando plays this. They insist they are keeping him the entire year, but what to do if there is no year ahead (lockout)?
