NBC’s “The Voice” To Air After The Super Bowl…With REAL Judges?

You may have heard by now NBC’s new hit “The Voice,” has already been chosen to air a special episode after the Super Bowl next February.

For a television program that has only been on a couple of weeks, this is the ultimate vote of confidence.  If you haven’t seen it yet, the premise is celebrity judges Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine pick top contestants without actually seeing them.

When I heard this story it came from an Entertainment source who may or may not have seen the latest activity in pro football…that is, the inactivity in pro football.

It is the ultimate vote of confidence NBC is planning on airing the Super Bowl, let alone what comes after it.

It occurred to me if things continue as poorly in labor negotiations and the court system as they have so far this year…and we have no football…by next February…Christina and Company could incorporate the judges sitting on the U.S. 8th Circuit Court Of Appeals into “The Voice.”

Those court judges will most definitely qualify as celebrity judges if we get to that point…and “The Voice” would have to become an all-nighter…instead of just the hour originally planned…and hoped for.

Yay I love the voice but I agree. It’s like 7 months away. There’s time to decide.
